Adrian Veidt is Megan's second character on Paradisa, after Magda Waldescu, though she also plays him in at least two non-Paradisa continuities, because no panfandom fictional universe is complete without Adrian's sexy ass.

He is:

• Extremely intelligent. So intelligent it's goddamn scary. They say it only takes 30 IQ points' difference between two people to make them view the world completely differently. Not just politically differently, but coloring the way they interact with other people, their approach to problem-solving, their speech patterns. The average person has an IQ of 100. 140 is considered mildly gifted; 150, a genius. Adrian's is probably around 230. Yeah, exactly.
• Extremely pacifistic 85% percent of the time. Another 10% of it is spent on using physical force to restrain rather than destroy, and the remaining 5% is... well, keep reading.
• A moral relativist. His ideas of right and wrong are highly dependent on the situation at hand, which can cause some... interesting actions on his part. Like arranging a worldwide catastrophe that claims the lives of at least fifteen million people, because the method he used convinced people that it was the work of a man-shaped, lab-accident-borne eldritch abomination that'd come back to kill everybody else if they ever went back to the brink of nuclear war. The freakiest part is that as far as anybody knows, it worked.
• An altruist, sometimes bordering on flat-out Comtean altruism.
• A temperamental perfectionist.
• Not actually American, no matter how much he tries to hide it in public. His accent backslides into German in private, though it's a very, very light German accent, at least.
