History Edit
In contrast to the traditional depiction of Allan A Dale as a minstrel, here he is an opportunistic, cheeky pathological liar. Initially, he is rescued by Robin after being caught poaching. He is later to be hanged, but is saved by Robin, whom he joins as an outlaw. He claims to have come from Rochdale, hence his surname. His brother Tom, also a compulsive liar and thief, is hanged by the Sheriff he has now forgotten everything about his brother. Allan becomes a reluctant informer for Guy of Gisborne, agreeing to spy on Robin for money and release from Nottingham's dungeon. After his betrayal is unmasked by Robin, he enters Gisborne's service. He provides Gisborne with vital information about the outlaws, but protects some secrets such as Marian's identity as the Nightwatchman and the location of the camp. Eventually after being torn between both camps, he leaves Gisborne to rescue Robin and the others, rejoining them in time for their voyage to the Holy Land and is accepted back into the fold.

Personality Edit
An ex gang leader and an ex pickpocket Allan A Dale is a sarcastic pathological liar who doesn't have a musical bone in his body. However, he does have a heart in there even if it is more often than not directed at himself.
However he is loyal to Robin Hood and that has been proven until torture that is...where he has made the mistake of betraying him and that does play on his conscience. After he betrayed Robin to the sheriff, he realises his mistake and then tries to return to Robin's band of merry men. Of course he is shunned and ends in a situation where he's working for Gisborne whilst trying to help the team whilst being ostracised by them. He was truly in the cold and it is only by helping Marian, Robin and the team through persistence is he able to return to the fold. Betraying him is a mistake he is not likely to repeat. He knows what it's like to be at the end of Robin's wrath and out of his trust it's too cold for him to want to re-experience.
His betrayal showed that he does feel remorse and although rare, he can perform acts of selflessness even if unwanted. Although he is more morally grey than the other men, and has stolen from nuns and the church in the past, he's good with nuns. He is also handy in a fight, able to wield two swords at a time and knives, and as an ex pickpocket can sneak pretty well. All in all he probably has the most thieving experience of any of the men

- Robin Hood – Former Lord of Loxley, and now fights as an outlaw and is in charge of a band of men who live in Sherwood Forest and rebel against the Sherriff of Nottingham. He betrayed him once but was forgiven...mostly through perseverance in proving he was remorseful.
- Lady Marian – Lady Marian, daughter to the former sherriff of Nottingham and paramour of Robin Hood.
- Will Scarlett – Fellow member in the band of men, both admitting to liking Djaq although nothing really that competitive came out of that between them.
- Much – Fellow member of Robin's band, very much the caretaker of he group and highly gullible, Allan enjoys teasing him.
- John Little – The protector in the band of men, also the largest of the group, he's one of the least rash, like a sleeping bear just get out of the way if you ever manage to make him angry.
- Djaq – The only girl in the band of Robin's men, a Saracen woman who disguised herself as her dead twin brother, the daughter of a physician, she's very knowledgeable about chemistry and medicine.
