personalityEdit

"I am normal. It's the rest of the world that's weird."

One word has been given to describe Bart, and that is "impulsive". (His first super-persona was named Impulse for this reason, although Bart himself canonly said "People call me Impulse. I don't know why.") Bart has only been living for about 4 years, but he is physically four times that age, and so his personality is more often than not, somewhere right in between that.

There are many things he didn't understand, both because of his age and because he comes from the very far future. If someone told him to 'hold his horses', he'll wonder where he's supposed to get horses in the first place (— but this has toned down a bit since he took on Kid Flash ). He's your typical young boy. He loves video games, junk food, and space invaders. Like the Speedsters before him, he's also quite the lady charmer, although Bart is more innocent about it; it just sort of happens that he gets a lot of attention from girls, rather than charming them with exactly that intent (Like Wally would have).

More than anything, Bart is a good friend. He's very nice, he's funny, and he fiercely loyal and protective. He just wants to be a good help to whomever he can. Because of the rapid way Bart's molecules are moving, many things are affected, but there are two main things that make up his actions and mannerisms. The first is that time moves differently for Bart. This is the case with all Speedsters. While to the normal eye, he's moving at speeds faster than sound or light (and even in Bart's case, time itself), it's all very normal to him. This makes him appear to be very hyper, when in fact, he's probably actually about average if not under. Occasionally he will get overly excited, but then he's probably talking and moving so fast that he can't be understood anyway.

The second factor is Bart's mind. He remembers everything he sees, reads, or hears, so is technically very intelligent. He will spout off random quotes or facts from books he's read, and as they're always accurate, there's not much to berate him on. That isn't to say there's other things that can't be done on. Bart's friends and teammates are always rolling their eyes in his direction, or telling him to be quiet.

Finally, there is more serious side to Bart. More than anything, he wants to become a good Speedster. To be a good person. He gets extremely downhearted when he "messes up", or when people do not believe in him. Many of his less impulsive actions are based upon the idea of one day becoming the best Flash there ever was. His determination is endearing -- even moreso knowing the amount of bitterness that will eventually overcome him, as well as the nostalgia for "the good old days".

• Super Speed: Bart is a metahuman who can run and move his limbs at superhuman speeds. Biologically inherited ability to tap into the energy known as the Speed force. As Kid Flash, Bart was able to achieve speeds faster than Mach 10 and at speeds far greater than the speed of light if he pushed himself. Bart can lend speed to or borrow speed from moving objects, create objects of concentrated Speed Force energy, become intangible by vibrating his molecular mass, perform both limited time and inter-dimensional travel with the cosmic treadmill and heal personal injuries by accelerating his metabolism. Bart is able to run across the surface of large bodies of water such as oceans. Bart can create wind vortexes by running in circles or rotating his arms and legs. His cruising speeds are subsonic (less than 770 mph ; the speed of sound at sea level). This is fast enough to move through most cities and around people without causing too much disruption to the population. He can also run across bodies of water and up the sides of buildings.

• Speed Force Avatars: He has the ability to produce "scouts", Speed Force avatars he could send through the timestream, but has infrequently used it since the death of one put him in a coma.

• Time Alteration Resistance: He has also proven resistant to alterations in the timestream, possibly due to an oddity of his origin; his parents met only in post-Zero Hour continuity, but he actually arrived before the event.

• Photographic Memory: Unlike other speedsters, Bart has a true photographic memory; that is, he can permanently remember everything he has ever read, seen or heard. For several issues after this revelation, Bart was shown spouting encyclopedic information concerning the situation at hand. [5]

• Superhuman Reflexes

• Air Friction Reduction Aura: Possesses an aura that prevents air friction from affecting his body and clothes while moving.

• Metabolize Wounds: Accelerating his healing factor while using the Force to sustain him, he could heal from grievous injury, however it should be noted that his injuries may not "heal right" and medical care may still be required.

• Superhuman Stamina: Due to his connection with the Speed Field, Bart's stamina recuperates at an accelerated rate.

• Molecular Control: Ability to control the vibration of his molecules to the degree that he could vibrate through solid objects.
• Bio-Fission: Shortly before the Our Worlds at War event, Bart Allen developed the ability to create clone duplicates of himself. The clones always obeyed Bart's commands, and fused back with him once a task was completed. One of these clones was killed during a Young Justice mission to Apokolips, causing great physical trauma to Bart. After that event, Bart never used the power again. (Ironically, Bart also has an evil clone)
• Speed Talk!: The Flash family can talk to each other at accelerated rates. Cool huh?

• Cassandra Cain — Batgirl. Bart's not extremely close to her. They met while he was a member of Young Justice. She was also an ally of the Young Justice. Chances are, the fact she's not too talkative doesn't bother him in the least.
• Cassandra Sandsmark/Wonder Girl — Cassie is one of Bart's best friends. She's the girl he admits that got him to like girls in the first place. Not really in the be-her-boyfriend sort of way that Tim and Conner have going on. Anyway, Cass believes in him and he appreciates that. He believes in her too. She was a member of Young Justice too, so they go way back.
• Colin Wilkes — Seems to be a good friend of the mysterious new Robin Bart hasn't met. Also a friend of Uru and a fan of superheros. Cool kid, would talk again.
• Dick Grayson — Bart knew Dick as Nightwing, and has a hard time accepting him as the "new Batman". He's a little weird, definitely not much like Tim, but it's all good.
• Hiro Okamura — The Toyman. Originally Hiro was kind of.. a superfan of Robin and Superboy (and Batman, rly -- another person who has this in common with Bart). He was invited to sort of hang out with them a couple of times. But in Bart's first visits to Paradisa, he became much closer to Hiro. Now they're friends. Hiro makes all sorts of cool inventions, even if he did fill Bart's room up with jello on April Fool's Day. He's also responsible for Fidget's robo leg.
• Superboy-Prime — Superboy-Prime and Bart sort of go way back at Paradisa. Moreso than in their canon. In canon, it's Bart who shoves Prime back and locks him up for a while during the Crisis events. SBP develops a deep hatred for Bart (it's gold when Bart comes back and SBP is basically like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) At Paradisa, the adventures of Pyro and Bart often coincided with the adventures of Pyro and SBP. So there's a bit of a grudge there. It involves fire sloths and jaunty hats and trees with squirrels and just don't ask.
• Tim Drake/Wayne — BFF. The final founding member of Young Justice, Tim is also considered a best friend to Bart. He believes Tim was the best Robin ever and finds him someone easy to confide in. It was to Tim that Bart said the Flash would someday be in his shadow. He also likes that Tim is so smart because then he doesn't have to act smart.

• Justinia — A real princess! Pretty cute too and obviously very concerned about her friends. Bart's opened her world to pizza and video games and likes that she's trying to catch up on 20th century lingo (he had to go through that too).
• Kaylee Frye — Bart and Kaylee were pretty good friends when they were both at the castle before. They since met again, and he finds that he does indeed enjoy her company. Also one he's going to introduce video games too, she's going to show him the Mule when she's all finished with it which he thinks is pretty awesome.
• Takamura Uru — a friendly girl who lives on his floor. at first they were just passing acquaintances but as their paths crossed again and again, they sort of became friends! Bart likes Uru's outlook on things and thinks she's a neat person. He promised to protect her from Superboy-Prime. They have one major thing in common: they are the Batfamily's #1 fans.

• Bruce Wayne — omgomgomg Batman from another universe. Bizarro-Batman but still pretty cool! Spilled a story about Wally which was much appreciated as well. Will bother again.
• Conrad — ...../squint....dude, she's lumpy. Also brought him books.
• Coraline Jones — Kind of a strange girl...but she's into April Fool's Day so that's always a plus?
• Julian "Hellion" Keller — Seems to know something about telepaths! Cool enough guy, potentially going to be dragged into video games by Bart and Justinia.
• Lorne — The Caritas guy. Bart doesn't really know his name. Or that he's green. But he'll find out. Oh. He will find out.
• Percy Jackson — met in Lumpy Space. Seems like a cool kid.
• Wisely — Man you crazy, trying to read Bart's mind is a death sentence, everybody knows that.
• Wyborne 'Wybie' Lovat — Doesn't really know his name either, but he has alligators!

fidgetEdit

Fidget is Bart's dog. Originally, he was one of the 101 Dalmatian puppies let loose on Paradisa several years ago. The real owner was Pyro, but Pyro, Bart, and Johnny Blaze all shared a room and thus Fidget (though really it was mostly just Bart and Pyro). Fidget is kind of..slow. And Pyro was a bit abusive so a lot of things happened to the poor dog. During a Silent Hill plot, Fidget lost a leg. It was replaced by a robotic one that plays the COPS theme music and shoots lasers. Hiro Okamura made it. Bart was reunited with Fidget so of course, anyone is free to notice or interact with the three legged dog with "BAD BOYS..." blaring out of his prosthetic.

• Bart is canonly a fan of Batman (he has Bat boxers and a Batman doll) and often got on Bruce's nerves.
• Bart was known even to drive the Joker crazy.
• He's shown listening to music a lot. He also seems to be a fan of Cookie Monster alkjalkajfsdf
• Deathstroke shot him through the knee. He was given a false kneecap and read the San Francisco Public Library while he recovered. This event is why he dropped Impulse and took on Kid Flash, even though Wally did not think he was ready.
• Bart still has the 2 crocs (albeit they are smaller now) that SBP put in his room. ACCORDING TO NOTDAVE THEIR NAMES ARE MARCY AND CHRIS. — ok he ditched them in the pond where Wybie's are.
