personality. Cross is a loud and dominating man, to be blunt. He can, and is clearly successful, at being a pain in the ass to surrounding characters, especially to Allen Walker. When he wants something, he wants it right then and there — wine, women, cigarettes, whatever. He is known to sleep around, drink, and gamble without limits, racking up overwhelmingly large bills for either Allen or the Black Order to pay off. He has no qualms about how much of a hit the Order takes for covering his spending sprees, and does not care if Allen can or cannot take care of his debts.
Cross is also very vain. His appearance is important to him, and whenever there is a tear in his coat, or his boots gets stained, he essentially throws a "classy" temper tantrum. And by "classy," he simply confronts the culprit who ruined his outfit and shows them no mercy. During the Order's first encounter and battle with a Level Four Akuma, Cross becomes that much more serious and deadly when he realizes his coat is riddled with holes, tears, and smears of dirt. In an earlier battle, he points out to Lavi that he only allows "filthy women" near him, and nothing/no one else. He prides himself on having an impeccable and clean appearance.

abilities. See Timcanpy. JUDGMENT Judgment is Cross's anti-Akuma weapon. It is an equipment-type Innocence. Because Innocence conforms to fit the abilities of its user, it is assumed Cross is, or was, some sort of marksman/sharpshooter before his days in the Black Order. Judgment is a large caliber revolver with its barrel on the underside. He can fire off several bullets rather quickly, and the bullets never miss their target. It is as if the bullets are programmed to embed themselves within the target's body. Once the bullets have hit, a cross-shaped symbol will appear. (And yes, barriers are included in this, too.) These bullets can also cause a target to swell up to unreal, and rather grotesque, proportions within a short amount of time. This essentially disables the target and leaves it open to more offensive maneuvers. GRAVE OF MARIA At first, one might think they are hallucinating. A good rub of the eyes, a light slap of the cheek, and then they look again. But nopeSORCERY It has only been demonstrated several times within the series, but it is assumed that Cross is a master of sorcery. He has utilized it to summon the Grave of Maria in battle before, but otherwise it has been kept under wraps. It may tie in with his disguise as a Skull, shown before he reveals himself to the Exorcists in the Ark. AKUMA CONVERSION The Millennium Earl is the only being on Earth who can create Akuma, but any member of the Noah Family can give orders to Akuma. Cross, even though he is not a Noah, has demonstrated the fact that he can take an Akuma and make them work under his orders instead of the Earl's/Noah's. But, there is a catch. Any Akuma that feels the urge to go back and obey the Earl will self-destruct. This is another issue the Black Order has with Cross — to destroy an Akuma via any means that do not involve Innocence causes the soul within the Akuma to be lost forever. The self-destruct switch goes against the principle of purifying Akuma that the Order has hammered into the Exorcists. |
