HistoryEdit

THE QUICK VERSION:

Joined military after his dad was killed by one of his friends in a bar fight but left it after some time to become a mercenary. Found out he had cancer and, when chemo and radiation didn't work, joined the Weapon X program to get a healing factor to keep himself alive. Healing factor didn't work right away and after killing a fellow Weapon X employee, was sent to a hospice and was then experimented on by Dr.Killebrew.

Eventually escaped after his healing factor kicked in on the verge of death and took on the name 'Deadpool' from the betting pool at the hospice on who would die (He never did! 8DD). Went back to being a mercenary and bounced between good in evil for YEARS before settling to a bit of a hero life.

AbilitiesEdit

SupernaturalEdit

Thanks to the Weapon X program, Deadpool has a healing factor and an unnatural tolerance to pain. Specifically, it's a copy of Wolverine's tweaked to work with his cancer. The more you hurt him, the more he regenerates. However, if you give him enough superficial wounds you can take him down without his healing factor kicking in. (One of the reasons Squirrel Girl can kick his ass) Drugs and poisons have no affect unless give all at once in extreme doses. And even then, not for long. Though, sadly, this also includes alcohol. Getting drunk and staying so actually takes a lot of work for him.

More benefits are that nearly all his natural physical talents are increased above human levels. (Stamina, strength, agility, reflexes) And due to the continually shifting cellular structure that came along with the healing factor, psychics can only read what Deadpool is thinking at the exact moment they try to read his mind. If they are able to read deeper IE: Memories, ect, they can't. :)

NaturalEdit

Deadpool is a master of multiple types of hand to hand combat, but he prefers his weapons. He's an expert marksman and swordsman, the two in combination being his main fighting methods. He also quite likes explosions and isn't adverse to blowing off his own arms with grenades if it happens to hurt his opponent. Well, except he can't use explosives any more thanks to his new permanent loss.

Canonly he is fluent in English, Japanese, German, Spanish, and Arabic. Headcanon is that he also knows Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian, French, Italian, Korean, and Swahili. He knows a little Yiddish, Sign Language, Latin, Bengali, Polish, Romanian, and little bits of probably a ton of other languages.

This will be long since Deadpool has been around since 1994, so please bear with me and the tl;dr. 8D; ALSO IT WILL PROBABLY NEVER BE FINISHED. Too much canon CR 4srs.

BFFsEdit

Nathan Dayspring Askani'son Summers Priscilla Cable G.I Super Jesus Messiah Solider X: Lawl Nate. Originally enemies, an accident involving Deadpool getting liquefied and then swallowed by him, they ended up genetically identical. Because of that, when Cable used his ship's teleporter, Deadpool would come along for the ride and he could use it as well.

This forced to spend time together and, coupled with an odd understanding and fondness for each other, had the two of them as best friends even if or maybe even because of the fact they're complete opposites. They 'divorced' over their differing stances on the Civil War and the fact Cable made Deadpool look like a clown to the world and destroyed his credibility as a mercenary. They didn't officially make up until moments before Cable went off to his death, saving Deadpool in the process.

Deadpool took his death a bit hard, still doing things for and because of Nate and his influence. He eventually came to terms with everything after gaining a few friends and decided to become more of a hero.

Blind Al: An intended target that he let live. She became his prisoner, friend, and confidant. He freed her a few years ago, but still occasionally visits and gets advice from her.

Weasel: Wease! His weapons dealer/tech/information guy that he ended up becoming friends with especially after he stopped trying to make him miserable/try to kill him. He helps Deadpool with his jobs and they geek out together.

Bob: Former HYDRA agent and hostage turned friend. He's a total coward and wimp, but Deadpool can't help but like the little guy.

Sandi: Taskmaster's sometimes girlfriend and Deadpool's former secretary. She kept his business running while he had it and Deadpool is quite fond of her in a mostly platonic way. He also saved her and Outlaw once from T-Ray.

LovesEdit

Vanessa Carlysle (Copycat): Nessa. They hooked up before Wade had even been diagnosed with cancer and before she discovered her mutant powers. They were in love and dreamed of a better life together, but he broke up with her when he found out he had cancer. After he gained his healing factor, they both ended up working for Tolliver.

They separated after she betrayed Tolliver to Cable and got too close to him and his group. But while looking for their former boss' will, she was nearly killed by Slayback. Deadpool gave her a piece of his healing factor while she was on the verge of death.

They've been enemies more than often since, but when Weapon X increased her mutant abilities, she became mentally unstable and went back to Deadpool again. This didn't last, however, as when they went on the run from assassins sent by the program she was killed by Sabertooth. They never didn't have the best of relationships after Deadpool gained his healing factor. In fact, it was pretty abusive most of the time. Still, Deadpool loved her and died trying to avenge her. He got better though

Theresa Rourke Cassidy (Siyrn): Terry. One of the few people that believed he could actually be a good guy. He loved her and she seemed to return the feelings, though she couldn't commit. She was what started him on his first road to being a hero. However, she couldn't take his clinging and constant need for reassurance.

After Vanessa pretended to be him and beat her, they were done for good. He still likes her and she still considers them friends, but he knows there's no chance now.

Death: Yes. THE Death. He met her in the hospice while on the brink of death but still unable to die due to his latent healing factor. She fell for him and he just wanted to die to be with her. However, his thirst for vengeance against Ajax activated his healing factor fully and brought him back to life and away from her.

Thanos has cursed him to 'life' so he can't die and be with her. Laem.

Likable PeopleEdit

Taskmaster: Tasky! A fellow mercenary with photographic reflexes that allow him to copy anyone completely (Voice, handwriting, mannerisms, fighting style, ect). He tried to kill Deadpool waaaay back but failed. Deadpool worked a few jobs with him and, most recently, fought him in order to regain his lost reputation. This scheme failed because while he's one of the best mercenaries out there, he was still highly unprofessional. Deadpool still likes him, though.

Outlaw: Hayden's sorta girlfriend. She's hot and he likes her, but he's not as close to her as he is with Sandi.

Bullseye: They fight 98% of the time they meet but that's how they like it. Deadpool used to call him rookie and they competed for jobs before Deadpool eased up on the killing. Bullseye even worried about Deadpool losing his game for that exact reason and called him out on it. It's a very hate-like kind of relationship

Alex Hayden: Guy who has part of his brain and healing factor. They tried to kill each other a lot and Deadpool stole his pancreas, but they ended up becoming sorta friends after Deadpool rescued him from HYDRA and Hayden let him take over his mercenary business while he was out of commission being super obese

Captain America: No matter what happens, Deadpool will always have respect for him. Even if Cap probably doesn't care about him and there's no way they could ever really be friends or anything but... Come on. He's Captain America. There is no way he could hate him.

T-Ray: The Dr.Doom to his Richards! Or the other way around depending on your point of view. He thinks Deadpool stole his identity but ever since Cable fixed his brain, Deadpool knows that he's wrong. But still. They've always been enemies, will always be enemies, and Deadpool wouldn't have it any other way.

Sabertooth: Killed Vanessa and is just generally a dick. Oh so much hate.

Typhoid Mary: HAHAHA gtfo before you make him throw up

Rhino: Pym particle fun! He used them on Rhino first, carried him around as a key chain, and treated him like a sort of pet. Then Rhino got his revenge and used the particles on Deadpool and had a whole bar of villains mess with him. And then Deadpool drugged Rhino and made it look like he beat him up while tiny so he could get some rep.

Question: Ok seriously. Q is the closest friend Deadpool has, has ever had, and is also the weirdest relationship ever. They started off not liking each other much, brought together by Rorschach. Then they started talking and hanging out more. Since then, they've gone to hell and back together. Losses, world changes, castle events, heterosexual camping trips- The whole works. He trusts Charlie with his life and his secrets which is... More than a big deal for him. It's everything. He doesn't have many friends; Not ones that he trusts like he trusts Q. Not by a long shot.

They argue and annoy each other and if either one knew the meaning of 'family' that might be what they'd call each other. Except they probably wouldn't. What they have kinda goes beyond any sort of familial tie. And also because they're both emotionally retarded. So they're generally awkward when they aren't annoying each other or hanging out or angsting together or whatever it is they're doing. They fight then bond and then joke around. They joke about killing each other and then when something happens (Like Deadpool's loss) they'll actually do it. Because that's what awkward friends do for each other.

All in all they're two damaged men in a damaged friendship, but they deal with it.

Elektra Natachios: MAMA She's hot and awesome and can see into the future~ She's pretty great.

Crowley: Helped Deadpool out during his tiny!loss. He owes him a favor for that. He also shares a love of Golden Girls and Bea so this gives him infinite awesome points in Deadpool's eyes. Also encourages his bad ideas. Then they were chained together for a week lawl.

Archie Morris: The doctor who helped Rory during the Josh incident and then he wound up kidnapped by Riful the poor normal guy.

Teresa: She's a stone cold fox and also potentially a monster but he won't hold that against her.

Julian "Hellion" Keller: JAILBAIT JILL. From his universe, unfortunately. The kid's a brat and Deadpool wouldn't mind punching him in the face more. :)

Tony Stark: THE Tony Stark oh wow. He tries not to fanboy too hard, and he did win that date with him...

Shortpack: Omg a tiny telepath. Deadpool LOVES tiny things.

Jilly Coppercorn: Took care of him when he was on his kid part of his loss. They've kept in touch since though.

Padre: Kept him from going off and killing people during his loss.

Billy Kaplan: Wiccan if you keep acting like that, he's going to tease you FOREVER. But he does it because he cares. Sorta. No really. He does care. Damn you. AND NOW YOU'RE GONE. BILLY-BOY COME BACK ; ; THE LITTLE BROTHER HE NEVER HAD NOOOOO- Oh you're back again and treating him like a jerk. Ok. ): Aaand gone again. SAD.

Walter 'Rorschach' Kovacs: Omg Rory ♥ ♥ Deadpool isn't sure how he and Rorschach became such good friends, but it's happened and he's glad it did. He adores the guy and he's slowly but surely becoming Deadpool's replacement BFF. He had guilt issues about the Cabot incident, though things were pretty much back to normal since the castle brainwashing incident. But now... He's gone. Brb angsting with Q.

Blue: Wound up handcuffed together thanks to the castle. They keep in touch and he's going to give Deadpool a kitty. :) But left before he could awwwwwwww.

Delirium: Adorable kid, pretty loopy but he nice enough.... Until she messed with his head. Then he wasn't sure how to feel about her.
