History Edit

Following in his father's footsteps he is drawn into the world of Voldemort before being almost used as a punishment against his father, he gets what he wanted which was to work for Voldemort himself and suddenly realises you should be careful what you wish for. He has grown up with years of anti muggle and muggleborn conditioning and believes himself superior in every way. But the war may have changed that having undergone the tortures and acts from a deranged dark lord, his body under imperio as he lost the naiveté and the gleam of this secret power hungry world. He is now at a stage where he no longer knows where he truly fits in, the Malfoys having lost their influence, now that the side has lost the war and are dependant on Harry to keep them from prison. However, Slytherin's are survivors and the Malfoys epitomise that more than most.

Personality Edit

The affluent son of a known death eater, Draco Malfoy had become embroiled himself. The future he dreamed of soon became a nightmare when he was truly in service to the dark lord. Whilst normally loud, arrogant and over confident his sixth year found him a much changed boy. Cruel and lost, he had lost weight and grown pale and drawn. His worry for his own life and that of his parents made him despair with the seemingly impossible task demanded of him. To kill Albus Dumbledore, a task created by Voldemort to punish Lucius Malfoy for the older man's inability to receive a prophecy from the department of mysteries. Draco's bravado fell away and in the privacy of the bathroom with the one person he found himself talking to, his fears and tears were revealed. Nevertheless, he appeared to rise up to the challenge. Managing a task that Voldemort's top death eaters had not been able to accomplish. Highly intelligent, he had managed to use a vanishing cabinet to allow the Death Eaters access into the fortified school. However to commit murder himself was a task Draco was ill equipped with, even with the death of himself and his parents weighing on his mind, he was unable to kill the knowing elderly headmaster in front of him.

This is where those that loved him, in particular his mother and Severus Snape and the headmaster himself came into play. The love his mother had for him not only saved his life and his soul from committing murder on the top of the tower, it also saved the life of Harry Potter. Her statement that Harry was dead on the battlefield after finding out her own son was alive from his lips led to Harry's ability to gain the upper hand on Voldemort and the end of the fight against the dark lord.

• Albus Dumbledore –The headteacher he often ridiculed but whom ended up giving his life so that Draco could be saved.
• Moaning Myrtle – A ghost and as a friendless spectre, the one person Draco opened up to knowing she had no one else to tell.
• Neville Longbottom – Relentlessly teased by Malfoy, his opinion of him has grown a bit wary since Neville stood up to Voldemort's and decapitated Nagini.
• Remus John Lupin – A werewolf teacher and order of the phoenix that teached Malfoy in defence against the dark arts in his third year
• Lucius Malfoy - For years Draco adored his father and tried everything to live up to his father's expectations...this blind adoration had more than likely changed a bit after their final year. But now the castle has taken the memories of his father away from him.
• His mother whom he no doubt adores and who shows him a great deal of affection, with sweets and the like. It is his mother's wish that he stay closer to hom that means that he goes to Hogwarts instead of Durmstrang. It is his mother that goes to Snape to beg for her son's life and it his mother that lies to the dark lord about Harry being alive when she knows her baby boy is in the castle breathing.
• Harry Potter - Nemesis and then saviour, these two have always battled argued and fought after the initial refusal of friendship when they were ten
• Ron Weasley - Friend of Hermione Granger and Harry Potter and the second youngest in a brood of seven. He is actually distantly related to Draco Malfoy through their mothers but there is no love lost between the two families and Ron is often teased for his families poverty and his muggle sympathies.
• Hermione Granger - Friend of Harry Potter and on Weasley is one of the few cleverer than Malfoy, but is teased by him for her mugggleborn heritage. It's a good thing she has a mean hook.
• Severus Snape - The person Draco looks up to almost as much as his father...and after the final year probably more so. Snape is trusted at least by Draco's mother to protect her son and complete the impossible mission tasked to him.
• Crabbe and Goyle - Draco's friends for seven years and his body guards, although Crabbe's friendship seemed based on their status rather than actual affection. When the Malfoy's lost position Crabbe disobeyed Draco which unfortunately led to his death.
