Hanna Falk Cross is the hero of the story. He’s awesome and nothing can ever ever stop him. He’s really just that badass. Trained by Tibetan monks and the best magicians ever in the universe, he was!

You don’t believe him?
Well… don’t let Hanna know, but you probably shouldn’t. Truth is, Hanna is only trying to be the hero. He hasn’t quite gotten there yet. He’s still a little too young and a lot too immature to really claim ‘hero’ or ‘badass’. He’s working on it though. He’s got more energy then Pfizer has pills, and enough optimism to fill a swimming pool. Even when things are looking down, trust Hanna to put a positive spin on the situation. After all, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right? More importantly then that though, Hanna thinks the only way to appreciate the good things in life is to compare them to the bad. Yes, of course bad things happen, but that just makes this moment so much better then it could have been.
And that is how Hanna approaches life. This has led to… a somewhat reckless disposition. He is curious – he wouldn’t have become a paranormal investigator if he wasn’t – and his curiousity has gotten him into more trouble then he’ll ever admit. And because of his immaturity, and childish naiveté, he never really learns, always rushing into situations he hasn’t quite gotten the hang of yet.
Which isn’t to say he’s helpless. He got some magical ability and a rune-covered hammer to help him in a bind, but that hardly excuses some of the things he throws himself at.
This recklessness is only multiplied when his friends are in danger. He is intensely protective of them, dropping all silliness and all sense of self-preservation if any of them are in trouble. To Hanna, friends are family. And Hanna makes friends like it’s going out of style. He’s an enthusiastic social butterfly, always sticking his nose in where it might not be appreciated and always finding a friend, even if the friend hasn’t quite found him in return.
But all this excitement and extroversion and sociability doesn’t necessarily mean he’s particularly open. In fact, he can dodge questions with the best of them, changing subjects and giving half-answers that, at the end of things, never really explain anything at all.
In sum, Hanna Falk Cross: paranormal investigator, child in a twenty-four year old body, immature, a little reckless, a little secretive and loyal beyond loyal. He’ll be the hero. Just give him a little time.

A happy kid was born and he lived a happy life. And then something awful happened. And his parents probably died and it probably had to do with a ghost and it probably happened when he was 16.
Eight years later, the happy kid was 24 and a paranormal investigator operating out of his ratty ass apartment. Business was not going so well.
Then he met a zombie who became his partner, and released a vampire which accidentally got their first client killed. But it was alright because the happy kid turned that guy into a vampire... Yeah. Case closed!
Then he got hired by some theater chick to check out a ghost problem, but it turned out the ghost was murdered, so he has to help the ghost’s kid friend find the murderer. Also, turns out the vampire he released earlier is a bad lady, and there are a couple other vampires who don’t like she’s she’s running around now. Gotta take care of that too. Case… still open.
ParadisaEdit
- Arrived with Zombie. LIKE A BAWS
- Found out about the tunnels under the castle. Makes plans to visit them… sometime… You know… when the castle will let him do anything cool again 8|
- Gets a kid with Lea for the Mother’s Day plot. Adores little Pierre like woah, and is… kind of devastated when he goes away.
- Gets super hyped for the trip out past the Dead Zone and even gets Raistlin to break his loss long enough to sign up. FUCK YEAH
- Only to find out he can’t go past the Dead Zone. LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME
- Connie shows up and… immediately starts getting attacked by vampire hunters, so Hanna goes off to help him out with that.
- Tasked with figuring out Alucard’s real name… which Hanna is now hoping the vampire won’t remember…
- Then for the Berserk Plot his loss acts up and he gets stuck in the TARDIS. Lame…
- Except it’s actually okay because the Doctor is cool and they end up getting attacked plenty anyway. Awwright, Hanna isn’t useless.
- Then there’s a ball and everyone is weirdly suspicious of the guy who saved them…
- Turns out they’re right. Wow, sudden disillusionment, maybe he shouldn’t trust people immediately upon meeting them… At least everyone gets out alive.
- Goes down to the Lost Room and claims the Pen
- His journal explodes OSHI—
- Extreme Plot ends up distracting him from that though, and he gets banged up and tossed around with the best of them. Painful but AWESOME
- Goes to High School again and… well… it’s boring but it doesn’t seem dangerous. He even gets a pretty date to the dance!!! With Penny’s help of course…
- Except it actually is dangerous. As in, there are aliens trying to take over the school and Hanna is one of the lucky many to get taken over. This is… not… good.
- Returns to the castle and keeps to himself so he can shake the whole experience. Yuck…

- Magic, apparently activated by writing runes. The extent of this ability is unknown so far. HOWEVER apparently doing anything particularly major makes him cough up blood. Which is bad.
