Skills & AbilitiesEdit
- Punching stuff. This one should be obvious.
- Red Right Hand. The Right Hand of Doom is invulnerable and feels no pain. Pretty handy.
- Marksmanship. He is a really lousy shot, though.
- Paranormal investigating. Hellboy has been a paranormal investigator since he was seven years old (he aged fast).
- Healing factor. He is pretty hardy, but in addition to that, any wounds he suffers heal at an accelerated rate.
- Language. In addition to knowing a number of Earthly languages, Hellboy can also read Ancient Lemurian, and has an intuitive understanding of magical/supernatural languages (the language of demons, fairies, etc).
WeaknessesEdit
- Psychic attacks. Hellboy is incredibly susceptible to psychic-based attacks (hauntings, telepathy, visions, etc).
- Binding. He can theoretically be bound by the utterance of his true name. But he's not really going to tell anybody what that is. Moreover, it probably won't work anymore since he gave that name to another demon a few years ago.
- Bad temper. Sometimes, he gets mad. And then he does stupid things.
- Nazis. If Hellboy sees a Nazi (or even a swastika), he will immediately fly into a rage. No, really. This really happens.
AppearanceEdit
Added by OdelledoBefitting his name, Hellboy looks like a stereotypical Judeo-Christian demon. His skin is bright red, with coarse, black hair, and he has an expressive, catlike tail. His feet are cloven, and he has pupil-less yellow eyes. Sprouting from his forehead are what are obviously meant to be horns, but instead of being long and pointed, they are flat and short, as if they'd been cut off.
Hellboy generally wears simply a pair of shorts and a trenchcoat, his feet and ankles wrapped in fabric, a utility belt around his waist. From the belt hangs a rather large rosary. He will occasionally wear a plain black shirt as well.
The Right Hand of DoomEdit
Grafted to Hellboy's right arm below the elbow is probably the most striking feature of all his weird, crazy features -- an enormous, four fingered hand made of stone. It is also red, the same color as his skin, and works pretty well as a makeshift sledgehammer. His stone arm can feel no pain and is apparently indestructible.

Working class, blue collar American. Despite his monstrous appearance, Hellboy is very down-to-earth, with a dry sense of humor.
