The most blatant and important thing about Kon is that he's growing up. Emotionally, if not physically. He's learning and living and trying to do his best in his world while dealing with all of the issues that he experiences as both a clone of the world's greatest hero and said hero's greatest nemesis. He struggles with the knowledge and the fear that he'll turn into Lex, or something like him and completely forsake his friends and everyone he cares for. He's starting to get better, seeing all of the things Lex Luthor is capable of and realizing, knowing, that deep down that he could never accept that, that he would never be capable of doing something like that, has really
helped him come to terms with who he is as a person.
That being said, he's not a complete, mature adult inside. He's perfectly vulnerable to over-confidence, and can charge in head-first without much thought which usually gets both him and his friends into trouble, but will do his absolute best to get him and his friends out of said situation as safely as possible. He's a good guy, and really tries his best. He's got a sense of humor, and loves to crack jokes to lighten the situation--whatever the situation, but he knows when to be serious and when something like that is just too inappropriate. He's a steadfast friend and will stand beside his friends whenever they need it for as long as they need it and then a little bit more. He would sooner die than abandon his friends and knowing that he did for an entire year really did affect him and he feels so guilty for putting his friends through that.
He's a good kid, finally coming into himself as a person, as an individual, not just a clone, not just half Superman, half Baldie Lex Luthor. That's not saying it still doesn't gnaw at him, he still has he doubts and insecurities and fears of becoming some creature entirely controlled and like Lex Luthor, but he's trying to move past it and he's trying to be his own person. A Superman, not the Superman, not Superboy, but a Superman that he and everyone else can be proud of.
History Edit
Superboy was created from the DNA of Superman as his replacement during the time he was still dead. The scientists who created him were unable to completely clone Superman's DNA, so they duplicated as much as they were able and used human DNA to fill in the pieces which they couldn't duplicate. Though these scientists were unable to completely recreate Superman, they did manage to endow Superboy with an ability Superman did not possess, Tactile Telekinesis.
He was artificially created and aged in a tube, wherein the scientists saw fit to download all of the knowledge someone of his age would possess as his age progressed up to that of a teenage boy. Unfortunately, the experiment was interrupted before its completion, before Superboy was fully aged and implanted with the necessary psychological blocks and guidelines necessary to control someone of his capabilities. This interruption was caused by the Newsboy Legion, who both woke and freed Superboy.
Superboy then made his way to Metropolis and began fighting crime under the name "Superman", though he would repeatedly and vehemently assert that he was the clone of Superman and not the original.

Healing -- Kon has an accelerated healing factor which allows him to recover quickly from injury, disease and even nuclear annihilation.
Superhuman Reflexes -- Pretty self explanatory, but Kon has hypersensitive reflexes, allowing him (with concentration) to deflect bullets and arrows.
Tactile Telekinesis -- Kon has been capable of Tactile Telekinesis since his original creation. This ability has allowed him several capabilities.
- Telekinetic Superhuman Strength -- Kon's telekinesis is capable of giving him superhuman strength. This ability has allowed him to life the world's largest yacht (which weighed 500 tons) as well as throw a football at Mach 5 speeds. Objects he lifts with his telekinetic abilities do not crumble under their own weight, nor internal stresses. As his willpower and concentration improve, so does his strength. It is not truly super strength, as Kon has been bound by chains and an energy field as he could not affect these directly with his telekinesis.
- Telekinetic Flight -- This is a reflexive ability of his Telekinesis and is basically a result of his telekinesis literally dragging him through the sky. With this ability, he is capable of reaching speeds up to Mach 3 and the greatest distance he's flown unaided is 12,000 miles.
- Telekinetic Force-Field -- Kon is capable of creating a force field around his body. This force field can deflect or reduce the impact of attacks, as well as easily deflect bullets and arrows. It does not repel gases or energies.
- Tactile Telekinetic Disassemble -- Kon is capable of disassembling an object through physical touch. In theory he could also reassemble the object if he understood how it originally functioned. He can also manipulate solid masses such as dust or sand in the same way, causing the individual particales to separate and become either a particle cloud or explosive attack.
Due to his half Kryptonian nature, Kon is also capable of several standard Kryptonian powers, each manifesting as his body physically matures.
Kryptonian Physiology -- Kon's cellular structure is biologically more resilient, dense and effective than human tissue. As his body matures, he is now capable of superhuman strength without the aid of his Tactile Telekinesis. Lack of solar energy for an extended period of time will reduce his strength to that of a normal human who exercises regularly. Kon's body also contains several organs, the functions of which are currently unknown, but believed to be the sources of his reclamation aura and biomatrix force field. Kon's body stores energy within his bio-cellular matrix linked to his body's electromagnetic field. This is what powers his abilities.
- Solar Energy Absorption -- The true source of his and any Kyrptonian's abilities. Under a yellow sun he is capable of all of the abilities of Superman (yes, even freeze breath, bb!), but because he is not a full-blooded Kyrptonian he cannot absorb solar energy as quickly as Superman can which can result in his body eating itself from the inside if he pushes himself and his abilities too far.
- Superhuman Strength -- In recent years it has become evident that Kon is no longer reliant on his tactile telekinesis for superhuman strength. The exact limit of his capabilities are unknown, but he can match even the strongest of opponents and has successfully injured and drawn blood from Superman when angry enough. Since his cells are not fully Kryptonian, it takes him longer to reach full-power, but he is still exceedingly strong. When he reaches adulthood, his strength will evenly match Superman's.
- Invulnerability -- Kon is practically invulnerable, capable of surviving even nuclear blasts. His immune system is also resistant to toxins and disease.
- Superhuman Stamina -- Kon is capable of maintaining strenuous physical activity for extended periods of time. Theoretically, his energy is endless as he is nourished and powered by the sun itself. He does, however, have a psychological need to eat and drink, though the majority of his nourishment comes from the sun. He does need to sleep every once in a while as well, so he can dream. He can hold his breath for an undetermined amount of time.
- Flight -- Kon has developed the ability to fly without the assistance of his Tactile Telekinesis. The exact source of this ability is unknown. He is capable of moving precisely in any direction as well as the ability to hover in place.
- Superhuman Speed -- Kon is capable of achieving supersonic speeds, both in flight and through physically moving. Superspeed through flight is less strenuous on his body and more versatile.
- Enhanced Senses --
- Telescopic Vision -- The ability to "zoom in" on excessive distances. It is limited to some extent, but the exact extent of the capabilities and limitations are unknown.
- X-Ray Vision -- The ability to see through anything except lead. Kon is literally capable of focusing his vision past layers of matters and literally seeing through them to what's beyond.

- Microscopic Vision -- The ability to see objects up to the atomic level.
- Heat Vision -- The ability to fire beams of extreme heat at a target with conscious thought. Though it usually appears as two beams of red light, it is capable of appearing clear, allowing him to work without being detected. The temperature of these beams is said to be around nuclear detonation. The affected area is consciously determined by the user down to the microscopic level.
- Superhuman Hearing -- The ability to hear any sound at any pitch, frequency or volume. (0.01-200,000 Hz) He has shown enough control to block out outside sounds and focus on specific source of frequency. He has been shown capable of detecting disturbances in the frequencies of human brain waves.
- Freeze Breath -- The ability to exhale an incredibly cold amount of air. It will freeze almost anything.
Weaknesses
- Because of his half-Kryptonian nature, Kon is partially weak to Kryptonite and red sun radiation but the damage is less than that of what would occur with a full Kryptonian.
- The fact he is not a full Kryptonian hinders his ability to absorb solar energy as quickly and therefore straining himself too much will result in his body eating itself for resources.
- Kon's force-field around his body is capable of being penetrated by heat.

Bartholomew Allen II--BFF, yo. He's a cool kid and Kon likes him a lot. He can get into stupid and crazy stuff together and enjoy it. He's kind of like a little brother to him.
Cassandra Sandsmark/Wonder Girl-- The girlfriend. 8) We could get into the really mushy stuff and be here for a few hours, but in the interest of pretending to have some dignity here we'll just say that he really, truly loves her. She's very important to him and he'd do anything and everything for her. Yeah, he's whipped. 8|
Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle-- Never met the guy. He came on the team after Kon had kicked the bucket and since Kon never went back to the Titans when he came back, they haven't had a chance to meet at all.
Koriand'r (Starfire)-- Boobs. And hot. And scary as hell. Kind of an amazing combo, if he's any judge.
Tim Drake/Wayne-- HomoHeterosexual Lifepartner. BFF for life. Whatever you want to call it, Tim is one of (and probably is) the most important person to Kon and in Kon's life. You fuck with Tim, you fuck with Kon and that'll bring on the hurt. Those muscles aren't just for show.

▬▬ Originally his only name was Superboy, but he was given the name Kon-El by Superman as a sign of Clark considering him a part of his family.
▬▬ He also gave him the name Conner Kent and the alias of being his cousin for going to school in Smallville.
