History
Edit
Lucy Saxon was born Lucy Cole to Lord and Lady Cole of Tarminster, the youngest child of three and the only daughter. As a young girl she was something of a tomboy, excelling enough at netball to earn a spot on the all-national team. She earned average marks at Roedean School and graduated with a degree in Italian from St. Andrews University. Her father's influence enabled her to gain work with several prominent charities, but she was determined to succeed on her own merits, and soon made a move into publishing. It was while working as a junior editor that she was assigned to ghostwrite the autobiography of a fast-rising young politician named Harold Saxon. They married three months after their first meeting.
Just before the wedding, Saxon revealed to Lucy the truth about himself and his plans. He was the Master, a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, and he intended to take over first Earth and then as much of the universe as he could grab. Far from being shocked and afraid, she was only upset over the notion of having been a mere cog in his machine. He reassured her that this wasn't so, and she pledged to stand by his side forever, for better or for worse. He established a psychic bond with her, which he considered more binding than a silly spoken vow, and they used it mainly to communicate privately in public settings. (Also during sex. Gave a whole new meaning to the term "mindfuck".)
Lucy was never far from her husband's side during his campaign for Prime Minister--often overlooked by the media, but always his staunchest supporter.
Personality
Edit
At first glance, Lucy is everything a well-bred young society woman ought to be. She is polite and charming, if a bit bland, knows her place, and is quite happy to let her husband have the spotlight (though she is never far from his side). Under the surface, however, something darker lurks.
Lucy is actually something of a sociopath. She takes great pleasure in the misfortune of others in her social circle, enjoys violence (to a certain degree), often entertains vivid fantasies of killing those she dislikes, and loves going out incognito with her husband to get trashed at clubs. Most of these tendencies arose from a deep-seated desire to follow in the footsteps of her hard-living brothers, and to escape the expectations placed upon her. Simply put, Lucy Saxon wants to be bad. She spent her life masking her true nature for the sake of her father, who she loved dearly. Her brothers were a massive disappointment to him, and she resolved not to be the cause of any more heartache on his behalf.
With her husband, Lucy is fiercely affectionate and rather wicked-minded. She loves him more than life itself and will stand by him no matter what the cost.
Other Details
Edit
→ The loss of her voice has made her somewhat reclusive, as she has been afraid the effort of holding a simple conversation in person would put most anyone off the attempt. Her in-person interaction has largely been limited to residents with some degree of telepathic ability, since they can generally hear what she wants to say without her having to write it out. She has attempted to rectify this by teaching herself some sign language. Adam Monroe was the first person she cared enough to see in person to actually utilize what she'd learned.
→ I believe that she makes acquaintances fairly easily, but actual friends very rarely. So don't be offended if your muse is on the former list when you believe it should be on the latter. :)
→ She has a long-haired cat named Harriet, after Harriet Jones, former prime minister of Great Britain.
→ Adopted the Fifth Doctor's cat, Charon, after the Doctor went back home.
→ During the Pokemon plot, she acquired a Growlithe that evolved into an Arcanine, and it stayed with her when the castle returned to normal. It went unnamed for a long time before she finally decided to name it after her departed friend Adam Monroe,

Losses
Edit
Current permanent loss: Both her first and second permanent losses.
Second permanent loss: The ability to kill a living thing, real or imagined.
First permanent loss: Her voice.
July 28 - August 4 → All her thoughts and journal entries came out in song lyrics.
Unofficial loss worth noting: In a desperate bid to save the last remaining remnants of her sanity, Lucy had her memories of her husband hidden away for some time. She believed she was still Lucy Cole, and tried not to think too much about the curious gaps in her memory whenever she encountered one.
Deaths
Edit
May 5th → Shot in the chest by The Monarch as part of a suicide pact.
February 24th → Kidnapped by Zexion and sacrificed to the Hunter during the Dead Space plot.
December 5th → Neck snapped by her husband, the Master, after she shot and killed the Ninth Doctor.
April 4th → Strangled by Superboy-Prime.
Gifts (for my personal reference since I'm senile)
Edit
Christmas 2007
Edit
Jan Valentine: "A gun. A...big gun. Think a .44 Magnum or a Desert Eagle."
Kagami: "Photos. many many photos. To everyone. Yes everyone. Don't worry, they're all nice shots of them and their loved ones. ♥ he'll also be giving everyone mistletoe photos in a separate package"
Grimmjow: "He filled your stockings, k."
Debitt: "Will be giving EVERYONE in the castle a gift, because he's such a great guy like that. He'll be having the ghosts deliver fruit cake to your door. He isn't sure what he put in said fruitcake, so not only is it entirely inedible, it's also as hard as a rock (in the great fruitcake tradition) and could potentially be used to bludgeon other people. He'll be decorating the tops of the cakes with nuts and fruit that spell out various profanities."
Superboy-Prime: "Dead animals in their room" (in Lucy's case, a sloth)
Rose Tyler: "The Saxons--a box of chocolates and a bottle of really good wine cos well, it's Christmas, might as well be civil and give them something too XD"
Fifth Doctor: "Something personal and meaningful which I will totally figure out soon."
Valentine's 2008

PS - Hire me!'"

Canada: "Little Canada flag pins, a jug of maple syrup, and a brochure about Canada (along with a note to have a happy holiday)! 8D"
Dream: "On the night of Christmas Eve, everyone in the castle who can sleep will feel drowsy toward the evening, and eventually fall asleep sometime that night. When they do, they will dream of a pleasant holiday with family."
Christmas 2010

The castle: An album of family photographs from when she was younger.
Relationships
Edit
Acquaintances
Edit
+ Nikola Tesla:
+ Fifth Doctor: He's back. Oh hell.
+ Ianto Jones: Offered to play some one-on-one netball with her. Lucy figures he must not have a damn clue that she was present while her husband was vivisecting Jack Harkness.
Get The @#$! Off
Edit
+ Anthony J. Crowley: He sent her a live cobra in a box for Christmas. It bit her.
+ Superboy-Prime: For months she taunted him as being nothing more than a spoiled little brat with no bite to his bark. He finally retaliated by attacking her in the clinic while she was recovering from the Twins' virus and doing a shitload of physical damage. When she kept it up, he eventually came back and killed her.
Gone
Edit
+ Mort Rainey:
+ Adam Monroe: She helped explain Paradisa to him. She was also the bearer of news that there is more intelligent life in the universe. Through their conversations over the journal, Lucy has come to feel a kinship with Adam due to the fact that "the others just aren't like us". They both see the world in a different light, and she feels comfortable being herself with him. Lucy has only ever felt this way with one other person--her husband. She told him about the end of the world and the Toclafane; he told her about Sylar, Arthur Petrelli, and the virus. They spent Valentine's Day together hanging out, and banded together with Peter and Inara during the Dead Space Plot. May or may not be majorly crushing on him, but is exercising her altruistic muscles by respecting the vow he made to Peter.
+ Peter Petrelli: Lucy is Keeping An Eye On Him, in case he hurts Adam again. Together with Adam and Inara, buried Lucy's head next to Adam's shrine after she was killed during the Dead Space Plot. Normally she'd only feign friendship with someone like him, but he was dead set on protecting her from Zexion and seems to have no problem with unconditionally accepting the fact that she's sociopathic and loves it.
+ Inara Serra: After Lucy's sacrifice during the Dead Space plot, Inara cleaned her severed head and, when the castle returned to normal, helped bury it. Also normally someone Lucy wouldn't even consider trying to cultivate a real friendship with, but, well. Horrors like that breed bonds you can't break, even if you wanted to.
+ Elle Bishop: Lucy offered to accompany her into town; she thinks if Elle's friends with Adam, then perhaps they could be friends as well. Elle doesn't seem to mind at all that their conversation was largely one-sided, something Lucy is grateful for.
+ Risika (nee Rachel Weatere): Agreed to suppress every single memory Lucy has of her husband, and then erase the memory of having had it done.
+ Daemon Sadi: He took her into town for coffee after she wrote an open letter of batshit to the castle. Something about him reminds Lucy of her father. He's offered to learn sign language with her.
+ Nathan Petrelli: He ran against her husband in the election while Paradisa was New York. Gave her an engraved pen for Christmas? (Mun still can't find that post...)
+ Sam Tyler: Looks just like and sounds (almost) just like her husband. Weirder things have happened in Paradisa. *shrug* She offered to show him around the castle.
+ Tenth Doctor: She had yet to actually meet him before coming to Paradisa, but she disliked him by default, having seen enough from video surveillance and heard enough from her husband to think Ten a right sanctimonious prick. His instant dismissal of her as a complete loss didn't help that opinion at all. It got to the point that they could hold civil enough conversations, but then Lucy called his bluff on proving to her that his claims about her future were true. He showed her his memories of The Year That Never Was. She very nearly believed him until her husband assured her that it was all a lie [lol], and in retaliation they lured Ten into town and proceeded to torture him until he became a gibbering wreck. Boy, is she pissed off at him for lying.
+ Sixth Master: The third Harold Saxon to appear in Paradisa during Lucy's tenure there. Despite her initial doubts, due to his being from what ought to have been her future, he convinced her that he is truly "her Harry". They promptly had a hot session of reunion sex. To say that she's overjoyed to have her husband back would be a severe understatement, though her existing relationship with the Fifth Doctor sort of became the big elephant in the room. Currently, despite still being in love with him, Lucy's also terrified of him, because she knows that in her future she's going to kill him and she desperately doesn't want it to happen. CURRENTLY HAS NO MEMORY OF THEIR LIFE TOGETHER AS HUSBAND AND WIFE, BOTH AT HOME AND IN PARADISA.
+ Jack Harkness: They've exchanged some snarkish barbs over the journals. Lucy figures he holds the same dim view of her as the Tenth Doctor does, solely because he's one of Ten's groupies.
+ Carlisle Cullen: She knows what he is, and he knows that she knows. She's not afraid of him; instead, she's rather fascinated.
+ Second Master: They got along well enough at first. As he is an earlier incarnation of her husband, Lucy allowed him to look through her memories at will, to prove beyond doubt that she was really his sixth self's wife. He gave her a key to his shared TARDIS, and gave her some words of encouragement: "If you had the will and strength to marry me, my dear, I think you can see through this." Once he started shagging the Fifth Doctor, however, their friendship quickly deteriorated into a mutual hate society, which shows no signs of lessening. She will continue to be extremely disapproving of how he conducts his relationship with Five, though the jealousy has eased now that she has her husband back.
+ Fifth Doctor: There probably isn't a sufficient adjective out there to adequately describe what this relationship has become. They arrived in Paradisa at roughly the same time and were therefore thrown together in their confusion and grief--him for having been cheated out of dying, her for losing her husband. Lucy was able to use the mental link established by her husband to converse with the Doctor, and they quickly became friends despite the obvious reasons why they shouldn't. For Lucy, he filled the void left in her life by the absence of her husband, and she came to consider him "hers". She asked to become his companion and then invited herself into the room he shared with the Master. Despite the (third) arrival of Harold Saxon, she remains fiercely protective, possessive, and fond of him. Lured him to the Danger Room for torture tiems. This has not had a good effect on her. When he left, it left her quietly devastated.
+ Edward Cullen: Lucy felt an instant empathy with him due to the content of his first journal entry in Paradisa, where he wrote of missing Bella Swan. He called her "a very kind and honest woman". Here's to hoping he still thinks that further on down the road...
+ Jan Valentine: They probably make a very unlikely pair of friends. Lucy adores his unashamed vulgarity and penchant for outrageous violence. He gave her a big honking gun for Christmas, and threatened to shoot her kneecaps off if she went after Loss!Vergil for killing the Fifth Doctor. When he came back, he didn't really believe her at first when she said they had been friends, because he said she was sane (lol), but came to believe after she merely laughed adoringly while he dropped F-bombs like it was Dresden.
+ Sebastian Valmont: She helped get him acquainted with the basics of life in Paradisa. He seemed a little concerned about her during her music lyrics loss.
+ One: The Master requested that Lucy be put on One's "Do Not Shoot" list, though that privilege has doubtlessly been revoked by now. She finds One's attitude towards the Master to be hilarious.
+ Harold Saxon: Her husband, whose memories of her were taken away by Paradisa. The Master convinced Saxon that Lucy was truly his wife by prompting him to examine the wedding ring he still wore.
+ Peter Carlisle: Possibly the only person who has ever attempted to socialize with Lucy outside the journals; he visited her in the clinic after SBP's attack, and after that they were friends. Their friendship was showing signs of progressing towards something more, when Lucy dealt it a severe blow by using the Danger Room to simulate the cabinet room at 10 Downing Street, complete with cabinet members, and proceeding to murder every single one of them with her bare hands. Peter disappeared into town for a while after that. They were tentatively patching things up when Paradisa sent him home. Lucy still misses him. Then he came back. Lucy was thrilled. And also determined to keep details of her darker side away from him, since she did genuinely like him, but he didn't seem to like that part of her, and she didn't have that many friends to begin with. Uhhhhh totally sexed him up in a bid to get him to like her and not be afraid of her. He said he was cool being her friend. Lucy was only marginally aware that her bid kinda backfired.
+ Samuel James Witwicky: He seemed to be a very empathetic young man. Lucy liked him.
+ John Allerdyce/Pyro: Gave Lucy a keycard to the Danger Room when she requested one, so she could "go make things explode" if she wanted.
+ Nataku: As Nataku regarded the Master as its father, it decided that Lucy, being married to a later incarnation of the Master, was something of a stepmother. Lucy was very bemused by this but tried her best to be kind to it as a mother would.
