Paradisa Putt Academy

Established by Ferdinand Putter, the Paradisa Putt Academy made it's Grand Opening on September 15th. Paradisa's first Outdoor Miniature Golf Facility, that was exclusively built indoors, boasts 18 Obstacle Laden Holes. Enjoy the uphill challenge of the Mount Rushmore Hole, or the watch out for the water hazard of the Niagara Falls Hole, as you tour the Academies expansive courses. There are 18 holes, all hand selected and recreated from other Miniature Golf Courses from the planet Earth by Ferdinand. The first 9 Holes all feature Famous Landmarks from the planet Earth. These 9 holes remain a constant feature within the Putt Academy. The second set of 9 holes can be custom changed at any point to be any variety of challenging obstacles or the standard feature holes, such as the windmill, or the large open mouthed animal. However these holes are magical in their entirety and are known to 'malfunction' should they be changed to frequently. Management is not responsible for lost balls, or poor scores due to use of the magical courses.

The Facility Edit

Basics Edit

Completely housed indoors within the City Royale, Paradisa Putt Academy is a unique facility that allows play through all seasons. While it is indoors, and completely guarded from the elements, it does boast a rather lush and green environment making it feel as real as any outdoor course could be. Through scientific methods paired with some magical assistance, sunrise and sunset are manufactured along with stars that simulate playing at any time during the day. Should you enter the course at dusk, you can play through the night. If you are more of an early bird gets the hole in one type, then plan for an early afternoon and enjoy the sunlight.

The course is split into two options of play. You can play 9 holes of your choosing, either the front nine, or the back nine. You can also select to play all 18 holes in one evening. Each 9 hole set is estimated to take anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half to play through, depending on the amount of players ahead of you.

Hours Edit

Monday - Thursday 10am - 8pm
Friday - Saturday 10am - 10pm
Sunday & Holidays 11am - 7pm

Food and Drink Edit

The Paradisa Putt Academy offers the best in food on a stick dining. They are also offering food in a basket as well! You can get a fine selection of Corn Dogs (Kosher & Vegetarian), Corn on the Cob, Kebabs (Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, or Veggie), or Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas. Also enjoy French Fries, Funnel Cakes, Fried Cheese Curds, or Mini Burgers. If you're of age you can enjoy alcoholic beverages, though drunken patrons will be removed. Otherwise enjoy a variety of Fruit Smoothies, or soft drinks. Outside food and drink is not allowed, and please no littering.

The Front Nine Edit

The first nine holes feature famous landmarks from Earth. They are always going to be the same regardless of how many times you attend. They range in difficulty though, so they should create a fun time for all.

  • 01: The Mount Rushmore - Par 4
A classic display of Presidential magnitude, the object is to putt the ball into the correct hole at the base of the mountain in order to place you on the higher ground on the other side. Once there, select one of four different routes to send your ball out of their mouths and toward the final hole beyond the "Tourist" fenceline that serves as a deterrent from simply cheating and putting the ball behind you.
  • 02: The Leaning Tower of Pisa - Par 3
Power and speed are what you need for this hole. With the ball required to spiral up five stories of the tower before landing into the open window you might find yourself racking up your stroke count before you make it to the secondary landing. Once you get it up to that window, the ball should take the internal tunnel to the platform below and line it up for a straight bank shot, if you're lucky.
  • 03: The Egyptian Pyramids - Par 3
Three Pyramids make up the odd angles that will force your ball to bank through the jagged edges of this hole. If you can line it up right you might miss all three of them, but more than likely you'll hit one and be stuck in the "sands" so to speak trying to make your way down to the hole. Careful of that final hill before the hole, you don't want to end up rolling all the way back down.
  • 04: The Niagara Falls - Par 3
Start at the top of the falls, and sink your ball into the water. Watch as you lose control over the falls, and hope for the best when it floats into the shallow pool. Get out of the water hazard and make your way down a series of steps before you hit the final hole. A bit of a drive and you should find this hole easier than most.
  • 05: Tokyo Tower - Par 2
A favorite for the night mini-golfer, the Tower is lit up fully at night. Serving as the entrance to the rear of the course, one must get the ball through the "visitors" entry at the base of the tower. On the other side the ground slopes downward, speeding up your ball before it comes to the plateau where the hole rests.
  • 06: The Vatican City - Par 1
Known as the Holy Hole, it would take a miracle to get this shot on par. Two halves of the circle bank this course, with a narrow entrance to the Vatican itself your goal. If you can make it into the entrance that is just large enough for the diameter of the standard golf ball, you can start to pray that it makes it through the internal labyrinth and exits the back with enough power left over to make it into the hole.
  • 07: The Bermuda Triangle - Par 3
A narrow path that opens into what you assume is just an open area shaped like a triangle. Instead your ball vanishes, then reappears in one of three different sections. All three sections will lead to the final hole, but each have their own obstacles. Wavy hills, steps, or pointy hills await you at each of these outcomes.
  • 08: The Parthenon - Par 4
Starting on level with the top tier of the building, your ball should travel across the top, banking around the three remaining walls until it ends up at the opposite end and drops down to the ground level. From there simply putt toward the inner left corner and you're set.
  • 09: The Cathedral of St. Basil - Par 5
Featured in the Red Square of Moscow, this hole features the cathedral and has a series of entrances that all connect to internal tunnels. With ten options and only two of them that actually end up going through to the rear of the cathedral, this is not the hole you want to go first on. Once your ball has made it to the other side, it needs to go down the narrow path to the fork at the end. Only the left side has the hole on it, so make sure you don't over shoot the first time through the front of the cathedral.

The Back Nine Edit

These holes are able to be selected when you start your game and will be set up by the time you reach them. They are magical, so they are in essence interactive holograms that have solid form. Despite these solid forms, they are still magic and can malfunction. This means it could vaporize your ball, completely change in the middle of your putting, or simply vanish. Please be aware there are no refunds, and management is not responsible for lost balls, injuries, or bad scores.
