Room 713. Between Vereesa Windrunner and Lana Lang, across from Fujioka Haruhi.

Loss The ability to control his powers. Basically? He might try to wave at someone and BAM, he'll explode something next to them. Or say he reaches for the microwave and it get destroyed for the umpteenth time. It'll always be a gamble to use them but there might be that one in a million chance where it actually works. A Demon Lord's standing is mostly shaped by his power, so being unable to control that power will not only be disgraceful but it'll also upset him considering he has spent all this time training/perfecting his skills and he finally felt whole again, so finding out his loss will be a major setback.

Background Edit

• Orphaned at a young age.
• Joined a Thieves Guild in order to survive.
• Almost got arrested for it, but Eclipse saved him.
• Finds out he's a Demon Lord. Cool.
• Unfortunately, he really sucks at it.
• Eclipse will be bald by the seventh volume, as he pulls on his hair a lot.
• Enter the sacred book: Demon Lord Magic for Dummies.
• He goes to a gathering in order to meet the other Lords and Elders. The first impression is very imporant, he had them right up until he bowed, gave a Lord a ridiculous title and then proceeded to rectify it by playing tough. Needless to say, he is the laughing stock of the Demon Lord world now.
• Surprise! Eclipse ends up having to leave for a few days for a important meeting. sweet freedom! He gets bored after a few days.
• No, he still doesn't get the evil part of this gig -- but he can roll with this. Right?
• Wrong. He almost gets killed by a knight, who he later befriends. Thankfully, nobody else wants to end him!
• Psyche! While venturing out on his own to become stronger, he gets summoned by a moron. Clueless Demon Lord Vs. Arrogant Church Kid -- who will reign supreme?
• Neither of them, because Eclipse comes to bail him out. Hurrah, evil prevails! And they can go home happy.
• Not quite, the guy who tried to smite him ends up being forced to join him by his Master. But it's okay, they become friends. Are you sensing a pattern here?

Personality Edit

Demon Lord definitely wouldn't be the first thing to come to someone's mind when they take a gander at this kid. Raenef is a far cry from his predecessors in more ways than one. For starters he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, which kind of puts him in a jam when he has to meet up with other much more intimidating lords. This usually ends terribly because he will try to be tough stuff as he takes advice to heart, no matter how outrageous it might sound to a normal person. The highlight of this came when, during a meeting, he put on a comical expression and asked another demon lord; How dare you admonish me, vermin? Needless to say, he was laughing stock of the Demon Lord world.

His overly naïve nature lands him in some pretty tight situations, especially when it comes to trying to deduce friend from foe. A knight came to kill him one day and he was nothing but cordial to her. In fact, he even went as far as to help her find the big, scary demon lord she was looking for. Until it turned out to be him. Whoops. Thankfully, his rather hard head broke her sword and he was stupid enough to believe she would be his henchman. Chances are, if someone told him there was gold at the end of the rainbow, he would try to find it for them. He isn't the brightest crayon in the box.

But it is difficult to tell that this happy-go-lucky boy came from a tragic and dark past. He was orphaned and as such, took to joining a thieving guild in order to ensure his survival. It is at this guild that he eventually runs into his mentor Eclipse, who saved him after all hell broke lose for him. In short, this is the type of kid who could warm anyone's heart, if they have one. But he isn't all puppies and rainbows, a fact that he has come to realize in recent days. Within him is another personality, one that is very cruel and intelligent and also has a better grasp on his magic than he does. Eventually, after an internal struggle, these two personalities combine into one and Raenef retains his kindness.

He is completely unaware of the effect he has on people and also that his clueless nature is the bane of his mentor's existence. He also faints at the sight of carnage and death, then has ridiculous dreams where the victim is replaced by something as stupid as a tomato. Hey man, he's only fifteen.

Paradisa Edit

• Barnaby Brooks, Jr. A real, honest to goodness super hero! Raenef thinks he is the coolest thing ever and also wonders how he was able to get his hair to look so pretty. One day, he will find out his secret. He's happy that he has a good friend like Kotetsu to be his partner in crime.
• Bonnie Bennett He's unaware that her, Jenna and Stefan are from the same world at the moment but he'll be excited when he does figure that out -- since he likes all of them. Met Bonnie in the kitchen while raiding it for a midnight snack and found she was both pleasant to talk to and knowledgable in all things ice cream. Not only is the name of her town cool but she is, too! Triple threat!

• Charlotte Charles (Chuck) After seeing an ad about a possible job at the Pie Hole, he went to visit her for the sole purpose of eating some tasty pies. What is a job? He thinks she's a kind person and will probably be visiting her shop a lot while he's in Paradisa.

• Deathwing Creeper McCreeperson. They use similar magic but he weirds Raenef out a little and makes him uneasy but he'd rather stick around to entertain him versus letting him bother/torch other people who can't handle it. Oh, the life of a Demon Lord is full of surprises. He thinks there's more to him than meets the eye, even if he won't admit it.

• Galadriel The prettiest lady he has ever seen in his whole life and she's got a heart to match. After learning what he was she was willing to look past it, going as far as to say that he gave her hope -- which really touched him. They may not have known each other for long but he can tell she is going to be one of his best friends here. He's eager to learn more about her world.
• Homura Akemi He met her on a trip to the Seasons Room and, while she was a little shy, he was able to learn a little about her world. Apparently witches aren't thought highly of, so she was surprised when he said he had met good ones. If she'll let him, he kind of wants to know more about said witches.
• Hyuuga Hinata She seems a little shy and, even if their first meeting was recently, he thinks she is sweet. He tried to help her think up a name for her kitten but failed miserably, but at least they had a good laugh over it. What he likes the most about her is how genuine she is.
• James Watson Can he call you papa? He was one of the first people Raenef met upon arriving at the castle, he's a kindred spirit almost. He told him a little about his world, much to his delight, and it was James who informed him about the library. He enjoys his company a lot and is excited to hear more about him and his job.
• Jenna Sommers They've only talked once but Raenef will most likely chat her up again soon. From her he learned about the different levels of school in the modern world but he might have taken their names a bit too literally. Since Jenna said she graduated from High School, he thinks she might be really smart for graduating from such a prestigious school.
• Katara He accidentally walked into her room during some castle shenanigans, being unaware that it was actually someones room since it was full of snow. Thankfully she forgave him and he found out she was a sweet girl who has an interesting power called bending -- she can manipulate water. He found out her birthday is in a few months so he plans to get her something cool since she was so nice to him.
• Kotetsu T. Kaburagi Another super hero who is apparently an old man. Raenef is amused by his antics for one reason or another but, like with Barnaby, he's got a feeling he is a really cool guy. When he first arrived he was able to take a gander at his cellphone which totally made this kid's day. His bantering with Barnaby amuses him to no end, so he looks forward to getting to know them both more.

• Lana Lang He first spoke to her when she offered to help him learn how to use modern technology and, when the castle booted everyone out, she offered him a place to stay. That bit kind of surprised him but he wasn't about to turn down an offer like that. So Lana is A-OK in his book but he plans to pay her back for her kindness one day whether she likes it or not. She doesn't like magic, which he understands but is curious as to why that is.

• Mark Hunter (Hard Harry) Mark is the man! When Kitty filtered to the teens of Paradisa, Mark chimed in when Raenef inquired as to what bowling was and offered to teach him how to bowl. What a bro! Mark is going to have his hands full with this kid but he looks forward to making a new friend.

• Minnie Mouse He doesn't know she is a giant talking mouse yet, but he wouldn't care either way. In fact, he would probably think it was really cool. As it stands, he thinks she is a real sweet lady and values her opinions. He's sad that the castle took away what little magic he had.

• Morgana While she had her journal open a vase broke, so he was worried someone might have been hurt. While he isn't quite sure he buys her story about how it broke he didn't try to poke her about it. After talking to her for a little while he found out her world is one of the ones that implements harsh punishments on magic users but he was happy to learn she doesn't share their opinion. He plans to send her some pretty flowers for the new vase she said she might get.

• Percy Jackson Another guy who is close to his age and the first person he met when he arrived in Paradisa. Since then, he's started to learn more about him and thinks Percy is an interesting person who may be a little more than human. He recently met his Tentacool; Alcaeus, and was surprised to see that Percy could use some kind of magic trick when he cleared leaves off of the pond. He looks forward to their friendship progressing.
• Stefan Salvatore He made a very cryptic post and his curiosity got the best of him, which led to him finding out Stefan was a seemingly down-to-earth and an interesting person. Stefan appeared to be bummed out so Raenef offered to be his friend if he wanted one. Sensing a pattern here? Raenef will befriend everything if he's allowed to! He isn't aware that he is a vampire but, even if he knew, he wouldn't hold it against him.

• Takamura Uru Someone who knew him when he was here during a previous stay, who also seems to be close to his age. Because of that he suggested that they could meet up for one of Kitty's gatherings in the near future. He's bummed that he was forced to forget a friend but is happy to have the chance to befriend her again.
