Rikku reminds people of a hyperactive puppy. And in some aspects, she is like one. Rikku is always the one ready to have fun, bouncing off the walls, and eager to try something new. She is often seen trying to convince Paine, one of her three best friends in the Gullwings, to be more happy and outgoing. It often fails, but it doesn’t convince Rikku to stop. She has the ability to talk really fast when needed, especially when she’s happy.
Another slightly obvious trait is she is somewhat ditzy, meaning she can get fooled easily, if she isn’t completely aware of the situation. However, when it comes to machina (machinery), she is very talented. So talented, in fact, that she is able to successfully destroy one completely. But she can create different varieties of machines when needed, and is one of her most talented aspects.
Rikku, along with being happy, can be very serious. Especially when it comes to defending her friends when they’re in danger, she will do so without a second thought. When he older cousin, Yuna, was a Summoner, Rikku was one of Yuna’s Guardians, explaining why she is already so protective. But, when it comes to protecting someone she loves, she can become very serious, and even mean. She refuses to allow anyone to hurt someone she cares about unless she has no power to prevent it.
Her main, most successful talent would be thievery. She is an Al-Bhed, a race of humans who were shunned until Sin was destroyed by Yuna. A trait often valued among Al-Bhed’s would be thievery; something Rikku is also very good at. With her very attractive looks, and charming personality, it doesn’t take much for Rikku to steal successfully. She is also good at stealing from fiends, while attacking them. She is very proud of this fact; whether it’s because she’s better than her brother, named Brother, or just because she likes it.
Yuna -- Rikku's older cousin, and best friend. Because of Yuna becoming a summoner, Rikku and a small group of Al-Bhed's captured her, trying to get her to change her mind about defeating Sin. After Sin was completely destroyed, Yuna joined Rikku's Sphere Hunter group, the Gullwings.
Brother -- Rikku's actual brother. He is the "captain" of the Celsius, the Gullwing's airship. He will usually only listen to Yuna, though can be persuaded with force, if needed. They argue a lot, just like siblings do. Brother is the oldest.
Shinra -- A little kid who Buddy and Brother picked up to help the technology part of running the ship, and analysing the spheres. He is very young, yet more educated than everyone in the ship. He has no problem in bragging of sorts, though when he finds something he doesn't know about, he often uses "I'm just a kid."
Buddy -- Family friend of Brother and Rikku. The peace-maker, makes Brother be quiet when he's being abnormally stupid,
though he isn't afraid of watching Brother embarrass himself in front of Yuna.
Paine -- Paine joined the Gullwings before Yuna did, and is very quiet. She often chastises Rikku, but has shown sisterly feelings towards the youngest member.
Gippal -- Though how the two Al-Bheds know each other is unknown, there is some kind of friendly relationship between the two. It could be hinted that Rikku has a small crush on him, by the way she acts.
Paradisa
Morrolan -- One of the first people she met in person who was kind. He is helping her locate more about her cousin, while learning more about different worlds as well.
Vergil -- She argued with him once through journals, and then met him in person when there was no gravity in the castle, but has a feeling he doesn't quite like her.
Hodgins -- About as close to a good friend that she has here. Since Hodgins lost the ability to name off any scientific name for any creature, they have this thing going where she makes up new names, and he writes them down.
Princess Peach -- First became acquainted when the furry blue creatures invaded the castle for a day. And then became better friends when they went out and picked flowers with Morrolan.
