Stop trying to be so ordinary ® All About RoseEdit

Rose Tyler, Defender of Earth. Once upon a time she was just a shop girl, spending her days eating chips and hanging out with her mates between trying to sleep in. She lived with her mum Jackie, who had raised her alone after her father had passed away when she was a baby. She didn't have very many aspirations to do much of anything, and looked at her job at Henrik's purely as something to fill the time and give her pocket money. She had dropped out of school before finishing her A-Levels and wasn't a fan of school on any level. Her life was on a path of autopilot for the most part and she seemed content to let it continue this way.

However a chance encounter with a man who introduced himself as simply the Doctor saved her life with a word - "Run." From that point on she seemed to look at the world a bit differently, as if the way she'd been living had been fit to the world she knew. Now with newfound knowledge of what exactly was out there she felt renewed and as if she could have some actual purpose. The Doctor offered her a chance to travel with him through time and space and she accepted it without hesitation. As much as Rose needed the Doctor to show her the extraordinary things in the world and how she had a place in it all, the Doctor needed her to help heal his wounds from the Time War. Her heart, compassion and sense of humor over time wore down the Doctor's defenses and after being with him for a while she knew she'd have done anything for him. She proves this point by breaking into the TARDIS when he's sent her home and away from danger. His directions to forget him and to live her life the way she had before isn't acceptable to her at all.

In an act that is slightly selfish since she doesn't want to live a normal life anymore Rose opens the heart of the TARDIS and takes in the time vortex. She transforms herself into the Bad Wolf and experience that she doesn't recall the details of until her own consciousness reawakens. Overcome with the whole of reality and all of time crammed into her head the Doctor reabsorbs it into himself with a kiss. This triggers a regeneration which Rose is witness to, and once more she fears the worst and wishes for the Doctor to return. It takes her a bit to get used to the idea of this new look to her Doctor, but she knows him well enough to know that it's still the same man. Through her travels she saves world, defends Earth from invasion and the random events. Her determination and drive to be the person that the Doctor knows she can be pushes her forward. During events at Canary Wharf Rose is separated from the Doctor, which is heartbreaking to her since by this time she has come to realize that she loves him.

A final farewell on the beaches of Bad Wolf Bay isn't enough for her and she beings to try and find a way back to him, and back to the life she missed. Building a dimension cannon she propels herself through the dimensional walls, but in doing this she discovers a grander plot that's putting worlds and universes at risk. Once she fixes the timeline to the way it was meant to be with the help of Donna Noble, she is reunited with the Doctor finally to save the world once more. Joined by those Rose knew from her travels, and others that were companions of the Doctor the team save the Earth and a few other planets from the Daleks.

• The Doctor¹⁰ - First Encounter - He was in Paradisa so long that the memories of the place, and the emotions attached to it, that he actually had his memories boxed up. Trying to start anew he made his way through the castle as if it was brand new to him. Eventually though, he returned home and Rose was grateful that he'd be able to travel wherever he wanted now.

• The Doctor⁰⁵ - First Encounter - One of the first Doctors to approach her through the journals he seemed very pleasant and she apologized for not knowing who he was. She met him in person before Christmas and shared a wreath influenced kiss with him. When he left, Rose saw the impact that could have on his other selves.

• The Doctor⁰⁹ - Despite him not remembering her, she still formed a close bond with him. The more she lost in Paradisa, though, the more she pulled away from him. In the end she tried to reform that close bond, missing being around him, but he left before they reconnected again. One last trip though, just like she'd always wanted.

• The Doctor⁰⁸ - Upon arriving in Paradisa she soon realized she'd be running into the previous regenerations of the Doctors that she knew. Being the roommate of the Doctor⁰⁹ it was only natural for her to have a curiosity about what came before.

• The Doctor^10.5 - Got to know this Doctor well enough that she learned her future lies with him. Over time spent with him she grew to care for him, and under an usual day at the Castle's request Rose confessed she loved him. It was the last real conversation they had before he left Paradisa. She knows she'll see him again if she ever goes home, but she preferred knowing this had been her choice, not her fate.

• The Doctor¹⁰ - Second Encounter - It didn't take long for the Doctor to return, and this time straight from new adventures and having new stories to tell. He wandered the castle, trying to figure out just how it worked. Maybe he found something, because he was gone less than a month later.

• The Doctor⁰⁵ - Second Encounter - Despite sharing a snog with him the first time he'd been there, Rose never really got to spend too much time with the Doctor while he was in the castle. Now that he's returned she made an extra effort to spend time with him. For a while, he was the only Doctor there was and Rose appreciated seeing a side of her Doctor that she hadn't known before. Now she feels the two are a bit closer, and is grateful for that.

• The Doctor¹⁰ - Third Encounter - Having lost him three times, she was a bit wary at first, but is glad that they've reconnected. She has a feeling he was wary as well, given that when you say goodbye to someone, you don't expect them to show up consistently in a new world. Things got a bit better, but soon the Doctor was returned back to the stars again.

• The Doctor⁰⁹ - Second Encounter - Welcoming him back to the castle, it was easily proven that the castle thought once more Rose Tyler was destined to be his loss. After a bit of conversation she'd mentioned how previously he'd shared memories with the Doctor to at least see the parts he was missing. She hadn't expected him to do it so quickly, but really appreciated that he wanted to do that. Now they're trying to reconnect and fill in the spots where an actual connection should've been. Since she'd been so close with the Doctor before, when he was here, she's hoping that will happen once more.

• The Doctor^03-AU - Second Encounter - This is the second time for the Doctor to be in the castle, but Rose never had too much of a chance to get to know her before. Rose plans to remedy this, and has already begun to spend time with her.

• The Doctor¹¹ - This... was different. The newest regeneration came to Rose on her birthday and it was quite a shock to see him, like that. His TARDIS is all wrong, too. Well, right for him, but completely foreign to her. It's going to be an interesting adjustment.

And I'm dying to be, what you're seeing in me ® RelationshipsEdit

York & Delta	Really great to talk to, and understands a lot of what Rose has gone through. She likes talking to him, and he's one of her best friends.
Abel Nightroad	At the White Elephant he was the one who got her gift. It was a glass slipper from her Cinderella day, and an ice cream scoop from 1860. Needless to say she felt bad, and he was a lot of fun to spend time with talking. Now the two are good friends, and Rose often brings sweets to him just to have an excuse to have a good time laughing about things.
Apollo Justice	Found his Pokemon after he left one time, and now she's friends (sort of) with the one that is here now. She still isn't sure she'd give back his Pokemon, only because she's grown rather attached to it. She might though. One day. Maybe.
Crowley	Talked to him while she was drunk, then again when she was hungover. Seems a decent guy just from the small talk. She hasn't spoken to him much since then though.
Chie Satonaka	Met her at the Bachelor Auction and gave her some money to help her win a date. She seems good friends with Jacob as well, which is good enough for Rose to care about her.
Lavi	She doesn't actually recall meeting him, but one day when she goes back to review her loss she'll realize she should try to talk to him.
Billy	She met him when she was looking for help with her Dimension Cannon. He helped her figure it out, test it, and use it to help when the castle when bonkers.

Personal note: When I first had the idea to give Rose the Dimension Cannon I had figured on using it just to help her go out further and explore with others more easily. She would use it as a day-trip transporter. When the January plot was announced and there was a reason to try and see if Rose could use it to send people to the Dead Zone, I ran it by a mod and got approval to have the cannon "shoot" people to the Dead Zone. (Think of it as a bullet being fired from outside the Dead Zone, the momentum itself will keep the bullet moving.) In my excitement to have Rose get new CR as well as get more players involved with the cannon itself, I glossed over a lot of facts and I implied a majority of Billy and her fixing the cannon. I am writing this up, in order to clarify the origins as well as how it can be used in Paradisa.

OriginsEdit

The technology that is present in the Dimension Cannon was originally from a Torchwood design. Used in small personal devices, about the size of a small round clock and worn around the neck, they allowed the wearer to shift from one side of a dimensional void to the other. This was only possible once the walls between the two dimensions had been weakened, allowing them to slip through to the other side. When the Doctor sealed the void, the walls between the two dimensions were strengthened, brought back to their original state, and the small personal devices were no longer functional.

This kept Rose, along with her family and Mickey (Mickey is Rose's loss and so any part of his work won't be recalled), in the dimension that was parallel to the Earth that Rose had been born on. This parallel dimension runs three years ahead of the current time of the dimension Rose was originally from. Rose joined up with Torchwood and spent the next three years working with them.

Due to the shift of time between the two dimensions, Torchwood was able to detect the onset of "The Darkness" which was the fallout from a Reality Bomb being detonated. Being able to detect this meant that they had a chance to stop it, if they could get in contact with the Doctor to warn him of the event. Torchwood at some point during Rose's time with them had started to work on a Dimension Cannon, presumably to get the technology to work without needing the walls between dimensions to be weak - or to not have it have a negative impact on the environment, like the original devices did. It was also able to detect timelines as part of its design.

With the early detection of "The Darkness", Torchwood accelerated their work on the cannon. It had gone through, presumably, numerous tests but was not successful until events happening on Earth started to line up to put the timeline in place. With the walls of reality weakening, Rose was able to travel back to her world in hopes of finding the Doctor.

The cannon was successfully used to push Rose through the weakened walls for short periods of time, in the beginning. There would be a flash of light, and Rose would come to a running stop in the other dimension. After a certain amount of time, Rose would simply fade away (much like the "ghosts" that were really Cybermen did when they would arrive and then leave). This device was also able to push a transmission broadcast through as well, but seemingly in a much shorter burst. However, because she was traveling to what could be considered the past she knew she had to be very careful as to what she did or did not do when visiting.

Rose's visits focused mainly around Donna Noble and the events that changed as a result of her turning right. Rose explained that all of the timelines converge with Donna and that because of her choice being changed, everything else was off track and heading toward the reality bomb going off and destroying universes.

Paradisa VersionEdit

During the month of December the castle was giving the residents of the castle some rather large gifts in order to make itself more liked by those that lived there. Rose awoke one morning to find the Dimension Cannon she used to push herself through the weakened dimensional walls, in order to track down the Doctor, in her bedroom. Rose wasn't sure why she had been given it, but she did turn it on to see if it was actually real or just a prop.

The cannon itself was set aside for the most part, until in January when the castle started to erase the memories of some of its stronger residents. With the castle tampering with the minds and memories of the residents many people looked

from the Doctor^10.5 ~ A photo he had kept with him before he got here, it is of himself, Rose and the family. On the back he's written "I stayed because I wanted too, I'm part human. Unlike the Doctor I've only got one life and I didn't want to live that life out alone and bitter, we're the same in every way just I've got one heart, one life, to grow old and die in. At the same time as you." She also gets a macaroni Dalek.

from the Doctor⁰⁹ ~ Given her choice of an outfit from the TARDIS dressing room she found a dark red leather jacket she had always looked at but never dared to touch until now, since she realized there are four of them in existence here.

from Jenny ~ a handmade Christmas card with a Christmas tree on it that looks as if it has about a jars worth of glitter on it. It's pinned to the wall near her door.

'from the Doctor⁰⁵ ~ A pendant on a long, silver chain. The pendant is a bit of coral, wrapped in wire. (it's a small piece of TARDIS, not that she'd ever be able to grow her own, but it's the thought that certainly counts)

from Abel ~ Chamomile tea leaves (the good stuff), some gourmet candies from Jyuushiro's shop that are usually specially reserved for "shiros"(aka, people with white hair). There is a folded piece of paper that contains a handwritten coupon for "ONE (1) HUG AND COMPLIMENTARY CUP OF TEA. CAKE IS OPTIONAL. REDEEM AT A NIGHTROAD NEAR YOU."

from Ukitake ~ A small box of chocolates with fruit fillings (mainly pear) from his candy shop.
