BackgroundEdit

While the finer details are currently unknown as to how Agent Maine became The Meta, it's been established that it was his original AI Sigma (creativity) that had the idea to collect the other AI fragments in an attempt to ascend to Alpha. What is known is that as The Meta, he's been murdering Freelancers for their Artificial Intelligence Units and Armor Enhancements. He's managed to collect Gamma (acquired from Agent Wyoming, Aspect; Deciet, Armor Enhancement; Temporal Manipulation), Omega (Acquired from Agent Texas, Aspect; Rage, Armor Enhancement; Invisibility), and a few others (possibly but unknown; Theta, Xi, and Lambda). These AIs have more or less taken over, using Maine as a vessel in their search for the Alpha, and I suspect that he's probably been with them so long that he's become dependant on them.

Since his canonbump to a point in which he has no AIs, he'd been a little listless without their direction and without being able to fall back on Washington. Recently, he has offered himself as a guarddog to CLU.

The only other agent to have more than one AI was Agent Carolina, and she very shortly went insane and died from the experience. Agent Maine is by no means to be considered a 'sane' character. Shrewd, calculating, powerful, yes, but never 'sane'.

In ParadisaEdit

The Meta will not give up his hunt for armor upgrades or artificial intelligences just because he finds himself in a strange place. Anyone with high-powered technology, or has/is an artificial intelligence, will definitely interest him (and that's never a good thing). The best thing to be, when concerning the Meta, is unnoticed. Otherwise, you're either an object of his fascination or in the way, and both of those options are likely to get you beat up.

StrategyEdit

Since Meta's canonbump to a point in which he has no AIs, he's unable to utilize any of the armor enhancements he's collected.
