The outpost was a project proposed by a resident named Asano Rin for the purposes of observing and learning more about the Castle. Current plans state that there will be two buildings, one within the zone of the castle's influence, and one sitting in the dead zone, close to the border of the castle's influence. A rotating team of people will inhabit this dead zone outpost to observe the castle from a distance and attempt to learn how the world outside changes when the castle goes through changes. The outpost within the realm of the castle's power will be a space for visitors to stay, and where work requiring magic and technology can be done.
