WINDRUNNER
Born a Windrunner, Vereesa has a lot of pride in her family name and her heritage as a high elf. When she was younger, she looked up to her sisters for strength and guidance, and soon followed in the footsteps of her sisters Alleria and Sylvanas in becoming a ranger. She is quite a skilled ranger, though it has been stated that she lacks the patience elves have come to be known for. Almost always is she ready and eager to pick up her bow to fight for a cause she believes strongly in, and she has been known to risk her own lives for the sake of others on several occasions.

Perhaps aside from her dexterity in the battlefield, she is most known for her committment and loyalty. As a young ranger, her first assignment was not to fight the orcs alongside her brothers and sisters, but to escort a human wizard to a sea port. When she sensed his mission was much greater than he let on, she stayed with him, accompanying him on a much greater journey. Several times she had been told to return to safety, both by her charge and the wise words of others, but she had sworn an oath to herself and to her superiors that she would see him to safety, even if that included risking her own life by following him to the darkest corners of Azeroth. In her later years, this committment is carried with her and she becomes known for it. The late King Terenas Menethil II of Lordaeron recognized these traits, and she and the wizard would go on to act as ambassadors for the Alliance.

FAMILY
She is most certainly a family woman, who is proud and protective of the Windrunner line. Though she has lost most of her family, she treasures who she has left and mourns the fallen. She married the wizard and bore twin sons, who she cares deepy for and would later travel to the darkest corners once again to protect. The only remaining "living" of the Windrunners other than herself is her undead sister, Sylvanas, who was slain and risen as a banshee by the Lich King. She mourns her sister, and though they have grown apart through differences in alliances, she still cares deeply for her.

MAGIC & BLOOD ELVES
Married to the wizard she accompanied, he has helped her in ways she could never repay him. When the Lich King and his Scourge invaded Quel'Thalas and corrupted their Sunwell, the high elves were without their source of magic. Rhonin, her husband, was able to help her channel her hunger for the lost magic, and for that she believes herself to be a stronger person. Unfortunately, not all of the elves had such help, and they turned to alternative sources to quench their thirst for magic. Many relied on fel magic. Their eyes became the same green as the demon magic they channeled, and they became known as the Blood Elves. Vereesa sees these elves as weak for giving into their thirsts and for daring to touch such vile demon magic. She is outspoken about her feelings for these betrayers, who chose to align themselves with the horde and fight alongside the vile orcs, as well as the other races of Azeroth she battles day to day against.

RACISM
Though she faces racial prejudices herself for one, being one of the few remaining high elves and two, her interracial marriage, she cannot see past her hatred for the horde. She is the Ranger General of the Silver Covenant, the Alliance representation inside the Kirin Tor, the faction of mages of whom her husband is the leader, and as such she and the Silver Covenant oppose the horde completely. To fuel her hatred further, the Horde is responsible for the fall of almost her entire family in the Second War.

• Made her first friend. Aww, look at that.
  
• In Lumpy Space, she was bitten and turned lumpy. It's embarrassing and she denies that it ever happened.
  
• Her first loss caused her to act as if she was controlled by a typical World of Warcraft player, including excessive jumping, emotes, and an awesome achievement.
  
• Currently possesses The Left Sock. Alistair has The Right Sock. With their powers combined they can create a sticky flood of epic proportions.
  
• Was kidnapped and dumped in the Dead Zone with Alleria and two handsome men. Eventually, a search party led by Sylvanas helped them find their way home.
  
  • As a result of being knocked out when kidnapped, her loss was changed. Previously, she was not able to hold her bow for longer than five minutes without losing it. Now she has lost the pearl dagger that Rhonin crafted for her.

Alleria Windrunner †

The eldest of the Windrunner sisters and the most beloved of their kin. Alleria was last seen more than two decades ago. She and the other Sons of Lothar helped in the closing of the Dark Portal and were never seen again. Vereesa was left with a necklace to remember her sister by which she has never once taken off. For years she mourned the lost of her sister, as her fate had never been known to any on Azeroth. To this day it is still unknown where she is or if she still lives. When she arrived in Paradisa, Vereesa was relieved to be reunited with her lost sister, finally being given the chance to show her that she followed in hers and Sylvanas's footsteps in becoming a successful ranger.

At first, Vereesa was unaware of her sister's fate. The "official" version of the story was that Sylvanas had fallen in battle and died a hero. In truth, Arthas Menethil had risen her as a banshee and added her to his Scourge until she had broken free. She now rules as a leader of the Forsaken and a member of the Horde. Vereesa has not spoken to her sister since before her death, though she has mourned her sister's fate. It was only fairly recently that she learned what had truly happened. In Paradisa, she tries to reconnect with her sister, but she has yet to truly bond with Sylvanas. Their conflicting political views only add to the stress placed upon their relationship, but Vereesa continues to try.

HONORED
Cross Marian
An ally of Sylvanas's. He was also kidnapped and dragged to the Dead Zone along with her and two others. During their travels they had a chance to speak to one another, and found him to be quite respectable.
Gaignun Kukai, Jr.
Jr. was the one to inform her of her sister's whereabouts in the castle, and as he seems closer to her, she would often talk to him about Sylvanas. Now they have gotten to know each other a little better and are on friendly terms.

FRIENDLY
Allen Walker
A young man she has come to know through not only her sister, but their own encounters during expeditions and various events. He has proven a loyal ally to his friends. He confided in her about the 14th.
Brock Samson
Their first meetings were during some odd world changes and then while she was on a loss, but she sees him as a polite fellow. They've spoken a few times, and he has shown interest in her past, which she didn't mind sharing with him.
John Marston
He's a cowboy! They had a rather embarrassing first meeting, though they've decided to put that behind them and start anew.
Harmony Kendall
Roommate from Paradisa High. They've kept in touch and have quickly become friends. Harmony is the girly type of friend Vereesa lacks and needs in her life.
Nanako Dojima
A small, human girl. They've spoken a few times, and Nanako has proven to be very kind-hearted, and Vereesa has warmed up to her. She keeps an eye out for her.
Yuan
He is a very intelligent, very well-mannered young man half-elf!, and one whose company she tends to prefer. Though she does not know him well, she has encountered him and spoken with him enough times to warrant a bit of admiration for.
