Wesley Wyndam-Pryce

"Funny thing about black and white-- you mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray."

Personality
Edit
Wesley is a man who is driven to always do the right thing. Sadly, he often gets what that thing is wrong, but he always gets up again, always keeps fighting. Trained as a Watcher, he fumbled through a few months in Sunnydale as Buffy and Faith's Watcher, which he failed miserably at and got himself fired, which was possibly the best thing that ever happened to him. Forced to face the world on his own, Wesley did a lot of growing up and dedicated himself to fighting evil and keeping the world safe as best he could. Once in Los Angeles, he finally found his own place, his own sense of confidence. He has a lot of book smarts, reading and speaking several different languages, and he works, in Cordelia's words, "the best mojo in town." However, his need to always do the "right" thing lends itself to a darker side. He is a man with a great deal of repressed rage at his father, one who believes, utterly, that the ends always justify the means. He will do "wrong" in order to get to that ultimate "right." He doesn't trust easily and tends to keep things to himself that he ought to share with people, but he loves his friends more than he could ever find words to tell them. Emotion tends to make him uncomfortable, but he nonetheless feels things very keenly. He isn't afraid to work on the dark side, to make deals with demons, to sleep with the enemy, so long as it gets him where he wants to be in the end. That ruthlessness is something he carries behind the mantle of English gentility, but it's something that anyone who has come in contact with knows to be wary of in the future.
Abilities
Edit
Wesley is proficient in several languages, human and demon. He is the book man for Angel--an excellent researcher with a great deal of knowledge of demonology tucked in his head. He is a crack shot, an expert marksman with guns, knives and darts. He's also quite handy with a sword, and his fighting skills greatly improved while working for Angel. He's also one of those people who is, occasionally, too smart for his own good.

Game Events
Edit
Wesley entered Paradisa immediately after he broke the box which gave him back his memories of Connor and everything he had done, all of his betrayals. He'd broken it in a desperate attempt to reverse what Angel had done--thinking this would bring back Fred, but it did not. It just left he and Illyria as the only two who knew the world had been changed by Angel. Wesley was angry, feeling used and mind-raped, and broken utterly from Fred's loss. However, upon arriving in Paradisa, he found Fred here, alive and well, and he thought they had a second chance.
Then the castle sent her home.
