- Joshua Christopher ☇ So strong he stopped the Phoenix which...made Yaya cry, oops. It was nice to be herself for a minute, I'm sure. However after that she decided that he's strong enough to be her friend so she constantly gives her her excess sweets and follows him around when it's convenient for her.

- Thief King Bakura ☇ Probably the closest Yaya will ever come to having a crush on someone--the real Yaya that is. Deep down she kind of idolizes his strength and he gives her constant headpats. Her initial interest in him however stemmed from his declaration that he was a King which got him automatic points for being powerful. The Phoenix is intrigued by him and wonders if his power somehow stems from some sort of Shadow she isn't familiar with. He's a friend by default since he seems about as neutral as she is.
